Red Roselle Hibiscus is  used to make wonderful teas and punch. We like to drink an authentic Jamaican Punch using one package of hibiscus. Our Recipe is below!

Jamaican Sorrel Punch

1 package dried hibiscus leaves

10 cups water

2 tablespoons fresh chopped ginger

2 cinnamon sticks

5 whole cloves

1/2 cup sweetener of your choice. May need more or less, depending on your preference.

put all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Then take off the heat and let steep for 2 to 3 hours.

Strain out ingredients and pour into pitcher to enjoy! This can be served warm or chilled in the fridge. 





Hibiscus also makes a healthy alternative to Kool-Aid! Instead of artificial colors and flavors, just steep hibiscus petals in water and then sweeten lightly with sweetener of your choice.
